Family Activities Manager

Cecilia started her journey with Virgin Active in 2019 at the Nottingham club, originally joining as a swim instructor. She loved the company so much she stayed, progressed, and eventually moved to London. Today, she is the Family Activities Manager at the Fulham Pools club, where she manages Club V (the crèche), swimming lessons, and the junior tennis programme.

Currently, Cecilia is sharpening her leadership skills on the Emerge course, a programme designed to help Virgin Active managers understand and develop their management styles.

Never know where you’ll end up.

Cecilia’s proudest moment with the business is taking the children down to the London Aquatics Centre every year to see all their hard work in their swimming lessons pay off. For her, seeing them swim in such an amazing pool is incredibly rewarding. Her advice to anyone thinking of joining is simple: just go for it. You will meet great people, and you never know where you might find yourself in a few years’ time.
