Donna still remembers the welcome she got when she walked through the door 20 years ago. Right from the start, she felt like a real part of the team, with everyone across every department working on the same page, driving towards the single goal of helping the club succeed.

She started her journey as a Junior Activities Assistant in Club V. Over the last two decades, Virgin Active opened the doors for Donna to get qualified in childcare, learn the ropes across different roles, and develop through various product lines. Having grown from a single-area specialist into an expert across multiple fields, she now steps up as the UK Head of Product, executing the business strategy for group exercise, family, and swim.

For Donna, no two days are ever the same. The absolute best part of her job is identifying raw talent and coaching team members to become the next generation of managers and leaders across the business. She loves guiding her teams to deliver programmes that help members smash their goals, whether that is a junior member getting a badge for their first five-metre swim, or a parent hitting their very first squat in lift club. Opportunities are always coming up, and Donna makes sure her team has plenty of fun along the way.
